Then & Now: 67 Millbrook St., Worcester

We were pleasantly surprised to see a building we know well featured in the Worcester Telegram & Gazette yesterday.

 

Originally built as part of R.H. Long Motor Co., the Worcester factory (67 Millbrook Street) was purpose built in 1920 by Mr. Long as part of a million dollar investment. Often still referred to as 'the old Thom McAn building', as it served as that company's world headquarters from 1965 to 1996, today it is the recently refurbished Worcester Business Center.

Subaru of America Announces 50th Anniversary Celebration Year

Subaru today announced its year of 50th celebrations, leading up to its 50th anniversary on February 15, 2018. In keeping with a company known for supporting good causes, the automaker is marking its 50th anniversary with a special donation of “50 cars for 50 years” to benefit a national charity to be announced at a later date.

Throughout the year, Subaru will also host a number of celebratory events, culminating in a series of special edition model vehicles that will debut in early 2018. Further details on all programs will be announced in due course.
