It was so much fun last year that we decided to do it again!. Three entries in our 2015 Crockpot Cookoff / SlowCooker Showdown made it to the table. We had Clam Chowder (via Forester), Buffalo Chicken (via Legacy), and Bourbon BBQ Kielbasa (via Legacy). Only one point separated first and second place. We find a 6-7qt. crock-pot fits perfectly into the rear foot well (and the all weather mats add heat/spill protection).

The wining recipe is provided for you below. Enjoy!

Bourbon BBQ Kielbasa

Ingredients:

2 cups All Natural Ketchup

1/2 cup American Honey Bourbon

1/2 cup Brown Sugar

2 tbsp. Stone Ground Mustard

2 tbsp. Balsamic Vinegar

1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

1 tsp hot sauce

4 Polish Kielbasa (14oz. package)

1 large onion

The Directions:
In a mixing bowl combine all the sauce ingredients.

Slice the kielbasa into 1/2 inch rounds. Chop the onion into fine pieces.

Combine sauce, kielbasa, and onion in at least a 6-quart crock pot. Cook on low for 4-6hours.

Interestingly one of our sales consultants, Josh Costa, found that mixing the kielbasa and chicken made the ultimate in sauces. For those who would prefer this combo, up the hot sauce (preferably Frank's) to 1/2 cup.
