Over the years Long Subaru has strived to support our community wherever a need was discovered. Whether through charitable contributions, volunteer hours, fund raising events, or plowing our neighbors' street - we intend to continue in our efforts for as long as we are needed. We love the local spirit we have witnessed countless times at our annual Love-a-Pet and Fill-the-Forester events. Below are some of our activities for the year that we enthusiastically support. If you have the time, funds, or experience to join in, please do!

Please join us for our 5th annual Fill the Forester campaign. Once again Long Subaru is collecting new, unwrapped toys, games, hats, gloves, mittens, scarves and coats to Fill the Forester in our showroom. These gift will be distributed by the Webster-Dudley Boys and Girls Club. When doing your holiday shopping please grab that one extra gift and you will literally help make the holidays warmer for local children.

As part of our annual Share the Love event, Long Subaru is engraving Pet Id Tags to raise funds for the Webster Animal Shelter Saturday December 10th from 10am-2pm. Fill out a donation envelope to be entered into our Subaru Gear Drawing. Meanwhile your pets can have a snack provided by PT Pets of Webster, MA. After, we'd be happy to take a quick picture of your pet sporting their new Subaru ID!

We all know that money isn't the only thing in short supply in our local schools.Students whose families can't afford the necessary school supplies can become frustrated and have a difficult time in class. We believe our kids deserve to have access to the basic school supplies needed so they can focus on learning. Last year our Service Manager Dave Eastty had a great idea and, with the support of our General Manager Scott Barry, he put together and delivered 25 Backpacks complete with supplies from Long Subaru to the Webster School Department. From there they were distributed to those children most in need.
This year with your help we could do more. The most needed basic items are Pencils, Erasers, Pens, Rulers, Notebooks, Crayons, Calculators, and Backpacks. If you can afford to contribute, please drop off these unwrapped items to our showroom between now and August 21st. "The need in Webster continues to grow so any amount will be greatly appreciated." - Lori Glennon, Executive Assistant to the Webster Public School Superintendent

Every day the staff at the Boys & Girls Club are faced with a daunting challenge: take one day, one program, one hour to help turn a life in the right direction. If you are able, please join Long Subaru in supporting the Webster-Dudley branch at whatever level you are comfortable with. Together we can give children the chance to make positive choices.
