They were established in 2004 by Trudy Charette who wanted to provide Dudley, Webster, Oxford and surrounding communities with a viable option for control of the feral cat population. Since the beginning they have been able to help over 5,000 cats and kittens who have been rescued.
One of the many reasons Long Subaru loves them is the effort they put in to educate the public and bring awareness through workshops and programs.
