Every year Long Subaru works together with the BGCWD staff to create a list of the most needed winter clothing items for the coming season. Carefully curated to provide warmth, individuality and cheer, cozy items are shopped and donated by Long Subaru, their associates, and customers.

Throughout the fall, we loved seeing the showroom Forester fill up with such thoughtful gifts. Watching it grow day by day served as a reminder that we all can contribute to the comfort of others regardless of age or relation.
"We are very grateful for Long Subaru’s annual “Fill the Forester” initiative. Their donation of winter wear items ensures no kid goes without a coat, a basic need, that many of us take for granted. Families greatly appreciate this donation and kids love their new, warm, and stylish coats, hats, and gloves,” stated Liz Hamilton, BGCWD Executive Director.
Long Subaru staff were delighted to present over 70 warm winter coats, hoodies, vest, gloves, and hats to the BGCWD this December along with wrapping supplies to make sure they are available as the weather turns colder. Due to the generosity of many, the donated amount exceeded this year’s need list.
