Long Subaru’s plant-based event is right around the corner, and we are having The Last Green Valley join us. They will have an information table set up. There you can discover hiking trails, events, and how you can preserve the National Heritage Corridor in our area.

An ariel view of the National heritage corridor in Connecticut and massachusetes

In 1994 The Last Green Valley was designated as a National Heritage Corridor. It spans from Eastern Connecticut and Western Massachusetts, including 35 towns. This not a tradition park but instead citizens, businesses, nonprofit organizations, environmental organizations, local and state governments, and the Nation Park Service work together to preserve and celebrate the regions cultural, historical, and natural heritage.

Stop by their table on April 27th for Long Gone Green and learn how you can help by volunteering or donating. We also love learning about all the heritage in our area and how we can enjoy it!
