It's no secret that we at Long Subaru love our local community. Most of our employees live and shop in the area and love to hear about new places and businesses to check out. It must be 'a Subaru thing' because we find the best information comes from our customers. That's why, when planning our 10th Anniversary Celebration, we decided to include many of the local artisans we love.
Shopping at a farmers and/or artisan market is much more fun than a 'box store' but can seem a little strange at first. Below we've put together a few things that might make our event more interesting and more enjoyable for you...
Ask Questions - Unlike a traditional store, when you come to our market you'll have the chance to speak directly to the artisan producing the products you see for sale. You'll find these local vendors are interesting and more than willing to share their knowledge.
Be Spontaneous - It's not unusual to find amazing products at an artisan market that you will not be able to find any other time. Be open to trying samples and splurging a little on something unique and enjoyable.
Bring Cash & Buy Local - You probably won't be able to run your debit or credit card as independent vendors can't afford the process fees. So, 'cash is king' here during the event. Because all the businesses are local, your money goes directly back into the community where we live.
