Kevin Goodrow came to Long Subaru seven years ago with no sales experience at all! Here's his story: After having a bad experience with another manufacturer's dealership, he and his wife came to Long Subaru and purchased a Subaru from his now manager, Steve Geer. He was very impressed not only with the Subaru but also with the way he and his wife were treated throughout their buying process.
Sometime later, Kevin closed his office of Massage Therapy in Sturbridge and was thinking about what he would do next. Remembering the great experience he had with Long Subaru, and how much he loved the Subaru brand, he decided to call Steve Geer and let him know that he was interested in joining Long as a salesperson. He was persistent and it took some time, but eventually there was a position available and to our delight Kevin joined the Long Subaru family!
Kevin lives in Sturbridge, MA with his wife and their full bred, 18 month old German shepherd, Jazzie! After owning about five German Shepherds, Kevin says "I know we have at least another two years before Jazzie settles down and becomes a mature dog as opposed to a "pesky puppy"." They love taking Jazzie for walks and Kevin's wife, who is a runner, enjoys the security of having Jazzie along for the run.

Kevin continues to be impressed with the Subaru model, saying, "My customers are most interested in the AWD system, the Subaru's top safety ratings and the value for the dollar of the Subaru. It's a common occurrence that customers who are new to the Subaru brand, get hooked and say they will never drive anything else!"
He related a favorite customer experience, "I had a customer that I sold a Subaru to, she had bought a Subaru from me previously and then she decided she didn't want the Subaru anymore and she bought a minivan. She came back after having the minivan about three to four months and bought another Subaru because she couldn't stand to be without the All Wheel Drive!"
When asked what he felt was especially significant about the Subaru, he replied, "Well, the symmetrical all wheel drive is different than anybody else in the industry. Subaru has been at that AWD system for over forty years. The other thing is the ring reinforced frame construction, which is why Subaru has the top safety rating across all models. In addition, Subaru is the only manufacturer that for the last seven years running has outsold their previous year, which means that more and more people are recognizing the true value of the brand . . . so, there is a lot to be said for the Subaru."
We agree, Kevin! Thank you for being such an important part of our sales team!
