What is a Cash Mob?
Cash Mobs support local businesses and encourage people to buy locally. The general idea is to encourage people to go into small, local businesses and spend their money, en masse, to give the business owner a little bit of economic stimulus. Help businesses grow, make people happy, get stuff for ourselves, have a great time, and maybe celebrate afterward.
The first organized Cash Mob in Webster, MA was held in August at The Booklover's Gourmet. This event garnered lots of attention from areas residents creating a wave in interest. A new Cash Mob was formed for Oxford, MA with their first event scheduled for Saturday, November 24th at Express Yourself Gifts and Baskets.

Attendees agree to be at the planned event during the specified time and spend at least $10. Cash Mobs are simply people trying to make a positive impact on the businesses in their communities (and have fun while doing it)! We LOVE this!
