"My tire light came on and I thought I was getting a flat...false light. I did stop and inflate my tires to an even 38 lbs. Flat road ahead so for kicks I thought I would see what I could get for MPG...I ran at 51-53 MPH...(I know, nobody drives like that) for 15 miles (all of that speed I could take)...no AC running and no hills. No cruise so I could have better feel. Unbelievable!"
No question about it, this incredible combined MPG was achieved by driving extremely conservative, over a very short distance on flat terrain. But, it clearly demonstrates what the new 2012 Impreza drivetrain is capable of.
