The National Fatherhood Initiative (NFI) - a fatherhood renewal organization that engages fathers in the lives of their children - has recognized the Subaru Baby Driver television commercial with its Fatherhood Award. Roland C. Warren, the president of NFI, stated that Baby Driver "... is worthy of a Fatherhood Award because it taps into a characteristic that all good dads have - the desire to provide for and protect their children. [The] message of 'Love' is clearly communicated through this dad's concern for his daughter's safety on the road, and NFI is honored to recognize Subaru for celebrating dads in this way and providing vehicles that give dads peace of mind."
The spot was nominated for the "Best Commercial" Emmy® award in 2011.
