Things to do in your Long Subaru; The Mohawk Trail

It’s that time of the year again when we can finally roll down our windows and enjoy the warm breeze of Spring. What better time than to discover the history of the Mohawk Trail! Hop in your reliable, all wheel drive Subaru, and drive your way back through time on the Highway of History, The Mohawk Trail.
The Mohawk trail stretches across most of western Massachusetts, highlighting the early American and Native American life. With over 100 attractions to explore including country inns, gift shops, and camping area, the Mohawk Trail is a perfect place to get a taste of New England culture.

The trail provides a variety of history along its paths, including the Bridge of Flowers in Deerfield, the only one of its kind in the area, and Indian and Revolutionary monuments in Old Deerfield. Many of the pre-revolutionary houses still stand today, and are open to public to explore, along with a museum.

The trail also features New England’s only Natural Bridge in North Adams, The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute, the Western Gateway Heritage State Park, the Hoosac Railroad Tunnel and so many more!

While there are far more attractions to explore, others can attend a variety of craft shows offers, street fairs or an Indian Pow Wow!
Enjoy the scenic views of classic New England and learn more about the history that paved the Highway of History.
