Our General Manager and Dealer (since Mr. Long is semi-retired). Over 12 years experience in the auto business and 25 years working retail, Scott is generally regarded as very fair and not afraid to put in a little extra time. A New Hampshire transplant, he can often be chasing his three boys (Ethan, Cameron, and Fletcher) or being outdoors, working in the yard. He enjoys all sports but his real passion is golf and improving his 5 handicap. Scott loves the car business and his job and really is happier and friendlier than he looks (since he rarely smiles unless your talking about golf or the boys)!!
Steve lives an active outdoor lifestyle. His hobbies include running, camping, fishing, and can often be found near the Cape Cod Canal (doing one of the above). He spends his free time with his two daughters and Sparky (8yr old Beagle). Some of you may even remember his voice from his radio days at WESO.
David is the anchor to our business. He has been the Subaru service manager in this area for 30 years. Simple math tells us that David has been involved with servicing over 100,000 Subaru's! Add in over 20 Subaru's that he and his family have owned and you get a true professional who is knowledgeable, passionate and dedicated to Subaru's. You can't find loyalty in the car business to this level! Like most Subaru owners, David lives an active outdoor lifestyle and can often be seen looking for ways to keep the lawn looking better than the neighbors.
With over 35 years in the collision business, there isn't anything that Jim hasn't seen or fixed. From Ferrari's to farm tractors or Yugo's to Lambo's, Jim knows cars! An avid fisherman (preferably great big bass), Jim is a proud father of two sons and a daughter (daddy's little girl) and lives all the way up in Royalston with his wife, Nancy. If you know Jim, you know he is all about pride. Simply put, he is the best there is!
Andy is one of our many Subaru Guru's. He has been working with Subaru parts for over 20 years (he is older than he looks). Andy loves fishing, hunting and bananas, if he is not driving around in his WRX!! Having been around over 1 million Subaru parts, he knows the answer (or where to find it)
After retiring from his business selling spices, Ed couldn't sit still and joined the Long Subaru staff a few years back. As a longtime Subaru owner Ed offers a voice of experience and firsthand knowledge of our vehicles. An avid "birder", Ed has travelled internationally tracking our fine feathered friends.
Kevin was a customer before he became an employee. He is part of two Subaru family is an avid gardener and bike rider (before his knee replacement). In fact, he completed the Pan-Mass Challenge eleven times (192 miles over two days) raising over $36,000 for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute! Kevin is just a really great guy!!
Dean is a lifelong resident of the area, having grown up in the shadows of the screens of the Oxford Twin Drive In (Remember those days?). Dean is a grandfather and classic car enthusiast. His pride and joys are his grandsons Jack and James and his 1980 Corvette.
Shawn is no-longer the newest member of our sales staff but still makes the trek from Fitchburg everyday to be a part of our team. He likes to spend his free time with family, including his "granddog" Lila, a Golden Retriever. Of the 4 seasons his favorite is Football.
Shawn is a decades long friend of Bill W.
David just
took over the 'newest member' title. A Worcester native he comes to us from
Saturn (the car, not the planet) and when asked what he likes about Subaru he
answered, "the All-Wheel Drive, Reliability, and the WRX!" With his two rescued
dogs Sam & Sebastian, as well as his active support of the Animal Rescue
League, we can tell he'll fit right into the Long family.
Sara is a longtime Long Subaru owner (her Legacy went over 100k miles this July) and lifelong Oxford resident who, according to her 2 nieces and 1 nephew, is the "best aunt in the world"! Sara enjoys horseback riding and traveling. There is always a trip itinerary in the works. Her latest adventure was a cruise to Alaska.
